There aren’t many people who doubt that something shady took place between Donald Trump, his campaign, and Russia. Every week, more and more evidence seems to suggest collusion, even though the president continues to deny it (while defending Russia leader Vladimir Putin). Needless to say, Trump REALLY isn’t going to like what a former FBI double agent just said about it him and Putin.
Earlier today, ex-FBI agent Naveed Jamali gave a verdict on Trump and his constant praise of Putin over the United States’ own intelligence agencies: He’s ‘guilty as hell.’ On MSNBC’s AM Joy, Jamali said:
Donald Trump is guilty of something. What that is, we don’t know. But he must be guilty of something. Every time I see Donald Trump speak about Vladimir Putin, I’m reminded of one of my kids sitting in the kitchen and they stroll in and say, “I didn’t do anything wrong.” You just know that everything that Trump says – he did something wrong. He’s guilty as hell of something. What that is, we don’t know. But we can all be certain that he is guilty of something – or at least he thinks he is.”

Jamali echoes what many Americans feel in their gut — having a president who continues to defend and praise the leader of a country that has compromised an election is not normal. Even as experts and the United States’ own intelligence agencies have provided evidence of Russia meddling in U.S. democracy, Trump has done everything possible to undermine these reports and defend his Russian BFF.
If we examine Trump’s behavior over the past few years, Trump looks guilty from every angle. He has no issues attacking anyone else on Twitter or in his speeches, but Putin and Russia remain off limits. Something is going on and it’s only a matter of time before Special Counsel Robert Mueller seals the deal on Trump’s schemes and holds him accountable.
