Every day in the national disgrace that is Donald Trump’s so-called presidential administration brings new and more salacious scandals – often of the legal variety. Monday was no exception, as Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, had his hotel and office raided by the FBI. To make it even sweeter for those of us who want this criminal administration disbanded, it seems that Trump’s own Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, may have been the one to sign off on said raid.
Throughout the 2016 presidential campaign and Trump’s short, but wildly eventful “presidency” the Republican National Committee and GOP elected officials have largely excused away and ignored Trump’s disgraceful and criminal behavior, as well as that of the band of obvious criminals the orange one surrounds himself with. Now that Cohen is the subject of an FBI raid, though, it seems that the GOP is starting to panic quite a bit. As of this writing, just in the last few minutes, it seems that Michael Cohen, who, in addition to being Trump’s personal lawyer was also the Republican Party’s Deputy Finance Director, has disappeared from the Party’s official website.

This is serious. These people usually just excuse and ignore whatever criminality may be taking place by Trump and those in his orbit, because they are so craven for power that they really don’t give a rat’s ass whether or not Trump and his minions destroy the country. Just since they get their tax cuts and their right-wing Christian draconian agenda in place, nothing else matters.
But, if Cohen is going down – and it certainly appears that he is – Trump could be next. After all, if anyone would know what kinds of crimes Trump has committed, it would be his personal attorney. At the end of the day, the Republican Party made a deal with their very own proverbial devil, and now it seems that they will be paying the price.
Get your popcorn ready folks. This one will be good.
